TRAVEL: Anawangin Cove, Zambales

Travel date: 5-6 November 2016

My previous Bontoc trip was supposed to be a  9-day backpacking trip ending in Anawangin Cove. But of course, life had to happen and I had to adjust and opt for a broken schedule.

Having planned this Anawangin trip for months, and because I met and wanted to see the coolest and funniest mountaineers from Zambales, Tim and Chie (hi guys!), I decided to push through with at least an overnight trip here. Together with new friends I met from my previous Mt. Balingkilat trav (and a couple of newer ones), we headed out to catch some sun, sand and sea.

Thank you Tim for letting us crash your home.

From the beach, we had to cross a stream to get to our campsite.
